Welcome to Geekzone... But please help us help you.

You haven't provided much information on what problem you are seeing. What have you done? Are you trying pairing from both the device and the laptop? Do you have Bluetooth On and discoverable in both? Are you sure your laptop has Bluetooth?

After you installed the Bluetooth software from Acer did the Bluetooth icon stayed red?

Some Acer laptops have Bluetooth "ready" chassis meaning that they don't have the Bluetooth hardware, but could have one, usually pre-installed - no after market is easily available.

If your laptop does not have Bluetooth hardware then you would need an external Bluetooth USB adapter.

Do you have a switch to turn Bluetooth on and off? Have you tried it to turn the LED blue? I have an Acer Ferrari and there's a blue LED on when Bluetooth is active.

If you don't have a switch or if activating it doesn't change the icon from red to white then I think your laptop doesn't have Bluetooth.
