Hi, I've got a Titan I'm having some problems with and wonder whether anyone else has experienced the same problem.

Mainly with bluetooth enabled AND the device in the locked mode (to prevent keys being accidentally activated - the phone still receives answerable calls/texts), the unit will infrequently lock up in that pressing the power button to wake the unit up, it won't. The green connection lamp still flashes as well as the blue bluetooth lamp. The only way to wake the phone up is to do a soft reboot. Also while locked up, the phone will not ring (all the caller hears is the ringing tone and the caller doesn't even get switched over to voice mail). And!, also, if someone sends a text message when the phone is locked up, that message never gets delivered even when the phone is fully operable again.

One other issue that frequently occurs and is very annoying, is that (again with bluetooth on and phone in lock mode), after a while the phone just decides to turn bluetooth off - even though there is no setting in the hardware to tell it to turn bluetooth off after a certain time period. And as well I have a hands free car kit that automatically detects the phone's bluetooth upon entering the vehicle. After a number of automatic connects/disconnects with the car kit, again the phone's bluetooth decides to switch itself off.

My Telecom dealer has given me a loan Titan to see what happens and this has already locked up twice over seven days with inummerable bluetooth disconnects.

If you've experienced the same problem, or have a solution, I'd be pleased to hear.

Welcome to Geekzone...

What programs do you have installed on your device? Do you use Internet Explorer Mobile?

Have you tried using the device after a hard reset (Clear Storage) without any third party programs installed?

Hi, Mauricio (Admin) - only programs are those the unit came out the box with (which includes I/net Explorer - mobile, I guess). No third party software. I have done a hard reboot more than a couple of times on my original unit, not yet on the loan unit - of course every time you do a hard boot yout have to back up/restore your data - a real nuisance. The only thing I can think of which may be different is that the unit is running W/Mobile 5 whereas I have W/Mobile 6 on my computer that it syncs to.

Thanks for your interest, Ian
