Hi,

I have been trying to download the full version of Age of Empies for windows mobile, but nowhere seems to have it any more.  You can get the demo all over the place, but you can't get the full version.  Presumably it's been deleted.  If that is the case, it presumably can't do any harm to 'file share' the full version.  Any ideas anyone?

Thanks!

You are best to contact microsoft to find out what means of distribution or distributor they used for that.

They might be able to point you in the direction of a vendor that still sells it unless they sell it direct.

On the file sharing topic, while it may seem harmless, you'll probably find that it is still copyright infringement/piracy and as such can land you in hot water. We also don't allow those conversations (how to conduct copyright infringment/piracy) to take place here as well.

Age of Empires for Windows Mobile is not distributed or developed by Microsoft - don't bother contacting them.

The game was never available as a download, only the demo. IIRC it came on a SD card.

Even if the game is no longer being distributed, downloading a full version would still be piracy. I see Age of Empires for Windows Mobile is still listed here.

Thanks very much for both those replies.  I didn't mean to use the forum for anythig illegal!

I hadn't realised that it was never available as a download.  In that case, maybe I can get hold of a second hand copy on SD card.  By the way Freitasm, what does IIRC mean?  Something incredibly obvious probably.  Sorry for being dim!  Thanks for the link to Pocketgear.  They haven't got it anymore either though.

Thanks again both of you!
