I have a new toshiba laptop with vista on it. i had a ipaq 3900 and never had any problems. i just bought a 5450 off ebay and it works wonderfully except i cannot sync. I upgraded the windows 2002 to 2003 - got it off of ebay as a download. maybe it didnt download right? How can i tell? I did read that windows mobile isnt compatible with 2002. hmmmmm

I can put files into the "file Management" folder in Windows Mobile Device Center and they do go onto my device. After it connects it says "synchronizing" and the green wheel spins but nothing ever syncs and it never says "finished" like the 3900 would. It reads "Synchronize with Exchange Server - Errors 4/30/08 4:35 PM" (which is right now) then below it reads "Synchronize with PC - Last sync: 4/30/08 4:33 PM" and there is a long rectangular box below, empty.

if I tap the "Stop" button it disconnects; then tap the sync button it says "unable to connect with current settings. To change your connection settings, tap Settings." but i just unplug the usb and plug it back and it connects. weird?

PLEASE HELP@!!
