Can't connect my ipaq using the e398 with gprs.
using gsm works fine.
using a sony/ericsson z600 i have no problems with gprs.
the e398 disconnects before even dialling. i believe i got all the parameters right as it works on the sony/ericsson but the motorola is different with the settings and so new that the vendors are also of not much help. gprs is enabled and also shows the gprs indicator. i also can use wap with gprs.
i use the phone in indonesia.
what am i doing wrong?
grateful for any advise.

Are you entering the correct CID (the configuration identification) used on this particular phone? Are you entering *99# or *99***1#? The number 1 should match the CID corresponding to your GPRS connection. You might have to find a init string to use on this particular operator.
