Hi everyone.

I've just bought a HP ipaq 4150 but am having masses of problems using the wifi on it. Its a long post so please bare with me...

It started off with rom version 1.0xx to which I could view all available wireless networks(including the one i want) but could you connect to my one because it did not give me the option to enter my network key. I was told to update my rom to 1.1xxx which I did and also update my wireless lan driver on the ipaq. Since doing this the ipaq will not detect any wireless networks(b4 the rom update it picked up something like 5 networks). I have disable all the security settings on my netgear wireless router but it still does not pick the network up. I have tried to install my sky broadband on the ipaq manually but on the "Configure Network Authentication" screen on pda under the section "data encryption" but it only gives you the option of Wep or Disabled. The problem is that I need WPA-PSK.

Anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

ps neither the router or pda see eachother however I am able to use my laptop wirelessly with the router.
Thanks in advance

Quick update.

Just looked at the ipaq info in "Asset Viewer" and it shows the following...

Wireless Lan:

Firmware version: 1.10.7
Hardware revision: TNETW1100B
Driver version: 2.0.53
IP Address: 0.0.0.0
Mac Address: 00:11:85 etc etc

The thing that worries me is that the ip address shows all 0's. Anyone know how I can fix this?
