I am quite a newbie with my iPaq.

When I purchased it, 4 weeks ago, it was delivered with the 2.0 ROM Version.

I upgrades the ROM to version 2.10. I can not remember the exact version (SPxxxxx).
I noticed that my iPaq seems to be slower. I read in another post that this occur. How can I check the speed of the processor?
Whez can I find the right upgrade?

Kind Regards

I assume you're using a H39xx device. The ROM 2.10 is the latest one for this series. You can measure the current speed and more with Pocket PC Mark.

Also, the OS does not close the programs when you tap the X, it simply "minimise" them. This can cause the memory to be full.

To close programs on the H3970, press the Task button (last one on the right side of the device, under the e-mail button). Then tap and hold a program's name and select "Close".

Other way is to soft reset the device. Simply press the reset button at the bottom of your iPAQ and it should restart the machine. You'll not lose any information doing this.
