I am searching for a remedy to activite sync by Microsoft (3.7) I am unable to create a partnership with my HP 3955. I tells me I am connected as a guest, however, my information never syncs. I inadvertanly deleted the partner ship from active sync thinking that it would assign a new parnership upon connection. Does anyone have any ideas with this problem.

Thanks in advance,

Hub

It can be for a variety of reasons.

  • Is the cradle connected directly to your computer, or to a USB HUB?
  • Is this computer based on a VIA chipset, older than four years?
  • Have you installed any XML processor later?
  • Have you tried a soft reset on your Pocket PC?

    Hi Hub,

If I was still working on a help desk, my first reaction would be:

    > I inadvertanly deleted the partner ship from active sync

So does this mean that previously you were able to create a partnership between your PC and your 3955?

    If so, what has changed?

    Cheers,
    Bryan
