I have a htc 8125 phone I have active sync 4.5 and I am trying to sync outlook to it.. now the problem is the phone will take my calendar and contacts to the computer but it will not bring the calendar and contacts to the phone.. the madding part is it will bring 1 or 2 of my appointsments from the computer to the phone but not all of them and won't do any contacts from outlook to the phone.

thank you for any and all help!!

Make sure the Contacts and Appointments are in the default folders - ActiveSync won't synchronise anything that is in any custom folder.

excuse me for sounding completely stupid  lol but in regards to the appointments on my computer outlook i just made them and didn't do anything special.. now I do have to open my profile when outlook starts it asks for the profile but it is the only profile in outlook so I just say ok then it opens ..

now my contacts on my computer what will not come to my phone... are catogorized by groups.. does that matter? then there are contact that are on my phone and they transfered to my computer. now if I delete a contact on my phone it will then delete it on my computer.

this phone is used to be my wifes I had the same kind of phone but the charging connector broke ( bummer..lol) and she got a new phone so I took hers..  when she used it it hooked to outlook fine and transfered info from outlook both ways with no trouble.. I did a hard reset to erase all her stuff and then put in my stuff.  I delete all assocations with active sync on the phone and my computer..

it is so frustrating!! lol it is really frustrating today when it moved 1 appt. from my computer to the phone but none of the others..

again thank you for your reply and thank you to anyone with any suggestions..
