My girlfriend just got a BB Pearl 8110 with GPS. Are there any alternatives to the Vodafone Compass software that allow the maps to be downloaded and stored on the device rather than downloaded OTA?

you can have a look around although I think they have the niche market currently. and the cost isnt bad at all, especially while its still on trial..
