Can't seem to fiind any information regarding this on the microsoft site. Maybe I'm searching wrong?! If anyone knows whether this is possible your help would be appreciated.

Any update would come from Palm, not Microsoft.
I own a 500v also, and it'd be nice to get the WM6.1 update, as it contains multiple new features.
Don't hold your breath for an update from Palm though.
