I take you want access a network folder shared from your desktop on your Pocket PC's file explorer?

Open File Explorer on the PocketPC and tap the right most small icon at the bottom, ie. the one that looks like a "hand holding a trash can"... Note that you can only copy-in-paste/cut-n-paste files this way...

You need a third party application like Resco Explorer or Netrunner to actually be able to open network shares...

Note that Resco Explorer comes FREE with some PocketPCs including iPAQ 5555 devices...Check the companion CD that came with your device.

This presumes you have shares configured on your desktop(s)...

Also, look for the freeware netuse for Pocket PC. It used to be available from Bizzdev, but it seems that it's now only available on mirrors - you'll have to look on Google for it.

I agree NetUse was a very good alternative if you can find a copy. In fact I used it on my old iPAQ 3835.
