Rumours, rumours... It should be here soon after its launch in the US. Which should be soon. But no one has a date yet, although a couple of websites have leaked interviews and specs, quickly removed from the readers view.

The general pattern for release down here always seems to be at least 12months lag from the US at premium prices. This was the case with the TREO 600 (which I happen to own). They now sell the 600 at Dick smiths for only 1k!

How is the 600? I've been curious about it (and yea, it's been out for a while but I've been torn between getting that and a MS Smartphone.)

Does the 600 have bt? One of the caveats that I understand about the upcoming 650 is that the bt is crippled (can be used for bt headsets, but not for teethering to a notebook or handheld) with the Sprint carrier. I'm not sure about other carriers. I use T-Mobile US and the 650 isn't due out from them until next year.

Gadgets make me happy! :-)

The 600 is a great phone. But then again I have never owned a Smart phone. The keyboard is very handy and all the extra apps are superb. I have also brought a 2 in 1 headset that allows me to listen to music (pocket tunes) via ear buds and answer incomming calls! Sorry but Iam not sure what you mean by "BT" ?

BT means Bluetooth...

No, the Treo 600 does not have Bluetooth, and the screen resolution is shocking, if you had a Pocket PC or a Symbian device before.

I read that the bluetooth cripple issue was incorrect the 650 BT works fine

Also saw in the paper from parallel impoters that they are selling the XDA 02 for 599 looks like they have apicture of the XDA II but I think they have misrepresented it since the selling the old version
