Hello,
I was wondering how many of you have had your nokia firmware upgraded and how did it go? did they screw up your fone or did it all work perfectly.
I thought i would just see how many times ppl upgrade and out of those, how well they went

I've only had to do it once, and that was because a bug in my firmware already screwed over my phone.

But, I'm looking at getting an upgrade to my 7610 because of a couple of bugs and some new features that I want - just that $30 seems a bit steep for them to plug a cable into it and hit a button.

Hi guys, I have just upgraded from a 7250i to a 7610 and I miss my shortcut keys and g0-to's. I have seen on the net that there is a v4.0439 out which gives you all the shortcuts and go-to's back again. I have contacted Chch service center and asked if they can get it. They are meant to be getting back to me, I shall post my findings. Bye the way in Europe they have a v5.01 out but I don't know what it does.
