Hi,

I have just purchased a Nokia n82 (Nice black one) and am wondering what good communities (you know of or belong too) out there are based around this phone or the symbian OS, for help, applications and hacks?

Cheers :)

There is heaps, just do a google search.  The one I recommend is Symbian Freak - www.symbian-freak.com

Symbian-freak for sure! Plenty of us here can help too.

First orders of the day:

- Get your phone hacked
- Get an 8GB Sandisk MicroSDHC card
- Update to latest Nokia maps and the 12MB mapset for NZ (you should have three months voice guidance license with the phone)
- Sign up at Ovi.com and set up synch services
- Get some good freeware on there: Emoze, Fring, Truphone, Sportstracker, Share Online 3.0, Joikuspot, Shake SMS, Flipsilent, Frozen Bubble, Mobitubia/Emtube, JBak Taskman, X-Plore

That should keep you occupied with your shiny new phone for a little while ;]

If you are brave and do get your phone hacked, i would wait a while before you try and update your firmware to v30... (it just came out). As i understand there are still a few issues with the hacks not working any longer.
