Forgive me if it's in the wrong forum. Mod's please move if required.

Just put my Micro SD from my 6275 into my N95, and it's asking for a password. I tried all my usual ones, including the nokia defaults. But no joy. The net seems to tell me to download a file manager, then search for mmcstore, which I can't find on my laptop at all, or searching through the phone.

It's not a huge issue, but thought I would my spare one in my girlfriends camera, the one that came with the n95 works perfectly. Seems like a waste though.

Any thoughts?

If there is nothing you need on the card, will the original or the new phone let you format the card using the phones memory card format utility?

Yeah I've already formatted it on the old phone, still won't show up on the new one though.

So the new phone can't format it? Do you have a USB reader that you could try and format it on a computer with?

I've tried putting it in the laptop card reader, it refuses to show. Same if I put it in the n95, then try connect it in non pc suite mode, but it asks for the password straight away.
