which nokia should i get for video playback and the occasional photo? (not the 5800 because i want hardware keys)
n82 or n95 8gb or n85?
factor to consider are battery life expandable storage and size or screen and device.
which one of these devices would you feel best watching movies on? is the n82 screen too small? and its battery life?
also, does anybody know if any of these devices can stand horrizontally on a flat surface?
Cheers

I've a Nokia N95 8GB which is great but the battery life is ok, not wonderful. I am a heavy user mind you, much more than most people, so perhaps not the best person to ask about battery life as I hammer the phone. A great device in my opinion. Can't comment on the other models, haven't used them.

On an aside, the LG KU990 (the 'Viewty') has had $450 taken off the price so is about $550. I have seen a demo of the device but not actually taken it away for a play - but I understand can also play Divx movies which is cool.

I own an N95 which in my opinion plays videos very nicely.
As stated before, battery life is somewhat lacking, but have a look on Trademe, additional batteries are very cheap.

You can sit an N95 upright when in portrait mode, but if you turn it sideways for landscape it doesn't stay horizontal.

There is a DivX player for Symbian which seems to work well provided the file isn't massive.
