Well now that the Touch3G is taking longer and longer to arrive (was 5 days now 9 days) .... and I want a new toy for Christmas! So am seriously considering a Blackberry again!

There are the 8800, the 8110, the 8310 and ..... of course the pearl 8220 .. prices of course varies, from $400.00 upwards compared to the uncertainty of Touch3G.

Now ... those of you who are on these boards, please tell us your experiences with any of these devices you may have! I want to keep my phone for at least a year before upgrading again.

Thanks in advance.

Well I'm not quite sure what you want to know about them..

I've been using and supporting Blackberry's for about 6 years..

I still love them as a device.

hmm I just decided on the Bold, in the last day or so. Was thinking of 8220 as well but I think it's a slower processor than the bold. I just want a mini review of various devices that you have had your hands on really..

I had a 8100 Pearl, loved it. Then got the 8310 Curve and like it much more. Tempted to go to the 8110 Pearl for the GPS but love the qwerty keyboard so will stick with the Curve ... for now.

Have had a play with the Bold 9000 and its screen is amazing. Great for videos etc and a decent camera too. Sadly was taken away from me but I didn't mind as I am trying to wangle a Storm. Had a play when it was demo'd to us and it looked awesome and perhaps could be considered a "business device" by management too.

The Bold, in my opinion, is the best device by far ... but I still want a Storm Tongue out

I have had the luxury of playing with the Bold and Storm and currently use the Bold.

The Bold overall is a great performer and a serious piece of business kit. it has enough features to keep most consumers happy ans does include wifi which the storm is sadly missing.

The Storms new touch screen technology is also great I personally love the touch/click feeling it makes me confident that the action I request has been completed something that I found quite hard on the I-Phone 3G (but each to there own).

The Storm is a much more consumer focus'd device with the bigger resolution screen and higher megapixel camera.

They both come with a host of consumer and business focus'd tools so it really comes down to choice, do you want qwerty with buttons? or touch screen?

I'd suggest on release you goto a store and see for yourself.

Thanks folks, I will be going to the store and compare, wifi is definitely a must on a device for me.
