Hey guys

I know this has been covered plenty of times and I have been using all of these previous discussion to guide myself in getting as far as I have now, but unfortunately have hit the wall.

Using guides from on here I successfully downloaded the software updater yesterday (from the Nokia website) and updated my N95 to the latest possible software.

I then downloaded the latest maps package also from Nokia.

I then downloaded mapuploader, and connected this to my phone and downloaded the latest NZ map (around 9mb if I remember correctly).

I then on direction from here logged onto my wlan and pointed to drive & walk, and then downloaded a 30 License for NZ and Austalia.

The GPS will now show my position in terms of lattitude and longitude etc, however the problem is that it will not recognize and street names or specific locations, only the general location- e.g. Avondale or Pt. Chevalier.

Does anyone have any idea what I am doing wrong? As I seem to have followed the guides I've found by searching on here to the tee, however can still not navigate and get voice direction despite paying $21 for the license.

Any help is greatly appreciated, and sorry again for askign questions about a topic I know has been raised already.

John.

You may have missed one step.....

Once you've installed the Maps 2.0 program on the handset you must start the program then close it, what this does is create a folder for the Map Loader data to be loaded into.
Once you've done this THEN start Map Loader and load the maps on :)

The NZ Map data file should be 12.5mb, if Map Loader does not show its this size, restart the device and try again :)

That must have been exactly what happened, because I redid the process as described above and I'm now online! Cheers Jeffthechef! Now I've just got to figure the voice guidance (pretty sure I can in the morning) and I'm ready to go.

Thanks again!
