Watching all the demos on how the software works, I really like the device and concept. It interests me more than any other device right now.

Hopefully Palm can pull this one off.... though it still has no release date, not so good knowing Palm's history.

Currently only will be on Sprint's CDMA EVDO but I read somewhere they are releasing GSM version as well.

Bringing an old discussion back to life... I've heard Palm is planning to leave New Zealand, so it might be we don't see these here for a while?

It would be our luck they'd leave just as they release a product finally worth buying..

I talked to someone a reasonable way off the ground in VF recently. He said Sprint has exclusive rights to the Pre until next year, but to not to hold my breath after that. Doesn't sound that encouraging!

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Sprint have exclusive rights in the US. The Pre is launching in other countries but so far it doesn't look like anyone from NZ has picked it up.

I'm not sure if this is due to our small market or if Palm can only supply so many devices and are rolling out the release to biggest markets first as supply increases.

If Palm leave NZ, that is definitely a shame - looks like a great device.
