I recently raed the article to network my ipaq 3970 whcih has allowed me to surf but my active sync does not work. So i also raed the article on active sync and bluetooth by M Freitas which i implemented altyhough i am using a belkin bluetooth usb adapter. I still can not sync and although all the port settings are com6 the sync just says connecting to host adn eventually fails. Can i run the network connectivity and active sync together, two icons appear on my ipaq in the bottom right corner or should i surf and sync without the network connected. Any help would be much appreciated as i am new to the pda universe...steve

You don't need network activesync if you want to use Bluetooth activesync.

You say all ports are set as COM6. Make sure your ActiveSync port is pointing to the Server COM port not the Client!

Also, make sure ActiveSync is set to Always Sync or Sync on Connection.
