But your connection works fine if you manually enter an IP address? Are there other DHCP clients on the same WiFi router (or Access Point)?

Sorry, I don't think I can be much help then. So you never get an IP address using DHCP, but even when you enter address data manually, you get no LAN access?

MAC address filtering on your router? Or some other security setting? Or maybe the iPaq is trying to use a different network (if there is one) even though it has a valid WiFi connection. I sometimes had to disconnect my data connection (i.e Telecom mobile data network) to use WiFi.

I tried it in 2 locations, here and at a friends house, and it worked at neither place.
Maybe time to buy a new one.. :(

Have you applied the ROM update and the RTC update from this page?

Have you tried a hard reset?

Currently all ROM updates for Windows Mobile devices come from manufacturers. Microsoft is not involved with distribution at all.

For some reason now my hotsync is refusing to work.
I tried the rom update, but it came up with "Wrong Image!"

No, you must do it through USB.
