I am having problems trying to sync to my pc. I installed Activesync first as per instructions and message keep saying "device not detect". Can someone help me on this?
Check all your connections.
Try a different USB port.
Soft Reset the PDA.
Make sure it has been configured properly for date, time, region settings and screen alignment.
Is the PDA connected directly to the PCs USB port? Some peripherals like keyboards with USB ports don't agree with PDAs.
With the PDA connected, check Device Manager for an Unknown Device toward the bottom. Delete if it exists.
Check for firewalls. This is one main reason why the unit will not be detected. IF you have a firewall tries disabling it or tries to configure it to allow access.
