Hi Folks,

Whats needed to synch my windows mobile Titan with Outlook on Windows 7?

I've read that Active Synch is out, and the WMDC hasnt been developed yet for Windows 7.

Any other options?

Thanks for those links Canterbury! Looks like its a no go. I tried the Windows Mobility Centre but it didnt even flinch when i connected my phone.

Installing WMDC might corrupt my OS so hmm, back to XP computer by the looks of it.

I had WMDC 6.1 working on Windows 7. It is definitely doable by using WMDC 6.1 as mentioned in this blog by Nick MacKechnic:

And if you have difficulty to get WMDC 6.1 to see your Windows Mobile, it is also quite likely that the firewall is preventing that, if so, check this:

From memory WMDC wouldnt sync to my Titan. I too read that it possibly wouldnt work however, I do have it sync'd quite nicely at the moment and I think all I did was uninstall WMDC and downloaded it again.
