Who has their email on their phone set to push using Nokia email or MfE?

Just wondering what the drain is like, as I've always had mine on 15mins to pull.

I'm on a E71

I guess it depends how long you want your battery to last. I find that even hammering my E71 using push email and VoIP connected via WiFi I have juice left at the end of the day.

I'm in the habit of charging my phone every day so don't expect bettery life of more than a day.

My use of the phone definately requires a charge over night, and now I'm starting to use garmin a bit more it drains it even more.  Although you can goto the home screen when its running and it will goto screen saver to save batt.

My car chargers are absolutely useless, debating getting a cheap inverter to run the macbook and charge the phone when in the car its that useless.

I know having SIP registered over 3g is a killer on battery life.

I hammer my N95 (GPS, data, etc) and it lasts a day, so if you're happy charging it overnight every night then you should be fine.

I'm using Nokia messaging to push thru my Ovi and Gmail emails and MfE to email my corp emails.  I'm still finding I get a day out of it with room to spare.  Get Nokia messaging from email.nokia.com and free ovi email address from mail.ovi.com

If your car charger is going crap and your looking for a good USB solution, I recommend the CA-101.  It's a USB charger.  There are other solutions out there, but I foudn this one to suite me.  P.S you might need a usb cable extender.

P.P.S

Nokia Messaging + E71 + Opera Mini = me no longer using my work PC while out and about, at all.

I have the nokia DC-4 charger which is almost rated the same as the AC-5 wall charger.. gotta check the voltage coming from the cig lighter.

I have got my old data/charge usb cable from my e61, so I might give that a crack in my usb-cig adapter I use for my ipod.

Good to know you run nokia mail and mfe, I have nokia mial setup for my google apps acct, but only fire it up when I need it.

Nope, where can I find that?

Started today witha  full batt.  Running MFE and Nokia messaging for google apps between 8am - 10pm.

GPS on the way to work and back, about an hour of calls.  Fair bit of msn and web browsing at home.

Not a bad battery at all in the E71.

Testing today with only GSM and not in dual mode.

It's nice that unlink the E61 it doesn't need a reboot when you change the network from dual - gsm. Very nice.
