Hi,

I am new to this process of active sync and i have a bluetooth usb dongle for my desktop system and i use the XTND connect blue manager software for this. This softwareis provided by the manufacturer of the dongle.

Now the problem is that i am able to install the drivers and the software for the same and the device is recognised by my ssytem that is using Win XP sp1. I install the sotware and the software automatically creates a com port for the active sync to use as "bluetooth serial port " and it assigns the com port as com4. Now on my axim if i try to explore a bluetooth device and selet my desktop system it will ask me to bond and pair the device which i am able to and after that the aaxim check for the avaialble servies on the desktop. Ath this point of time i will get an error message that says" The device does not offer any usable services". and the process fails. This is the first problem.
Now the second problem is that i try to start the process from the desktop system and set the com port on the active sync and set it as com 4 and then hit ok.now i will get a pop up window from the XTND connect blue manager and ask me to selet the device. choose my axim and the green wheel keeps on spinning.
Now keep in mind that i do not have any firewalls and the system is new and the OS is just installed.

Can any one help me with this and tell me whether the process is possible or not.

Thanks in advance
Sunil
