I have been using pop3 on my n95 for a while now while has been good. I decided to try imap with my gmail account with it.

I normally set the mail to auto check mail every 30mins. with pop3 it would auto connect,check mail and then disconnect but IMAP stays connected after checking for new mail.

There doesnt seem to be an option to stop this?



How to turn IMAP-IDLE off?
