Hello all,

Hope you may be able to assist me. I recently acquired an i-mate Jam (which I mostly love). My fiancee dug out an old Canon BJC 50 portable printer she had. This printer is infrared compliant. So's the Jam.

So I figured, might as well try to get things connected....

Went on the Canon site to find a driver, and the only available driver is a hair under 4 years old (released 26 February 2001), and is intended for Windows CE 3.0

If I understand properly, the Jam comes with Windows Mobile 2003 SE, which I think is also known as CE 4.2. Is this correct?

Before I venture and install the printer drivers intended for 3.0, has anyone experienced issues, or am I likely to experience problems running this? Or will it be a case of "try it and hope you don't break anything"?

Any suggestion or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Well, I tried it, and answered my own question. the setup file was not recognised as a valid setup file on the Jam (nor on the desktop, for that matter). Sooo, it's not gonna work.
Really would have liked it to though...
Anyone has a lead on drivers for Canon BJC50 for windows mobile 2003 SE?
