I have tried to connect my IPAQ 3970 to my blackberry but it seems noy to want to. Any ideas??

You are right, it doesn't seem to have any way of doing this. The new Blackberry with Bluetooth models doesn't seem to support DUN (dial-up) profiles, only headset and a exchange.
