Here's the situation...

I sent an SMS to an 027 friend from my i-mate SP JAS running MS Mobile 5.1

He receives said text immediately, but, the message comes through with the text from a hotmail email I received over a month ago - spread over 6 SMS messages.

I saw it with my own eyes.

Another user of an SP JAS I know has had the same thing happen once as well.

What could this be?  I believe I am quite technical, but this has me stumped

A virus?

You can imagine how this could be risky in my commercial environment.

Any thoughts gratefully appreciated

R

I should also mention that I have my hotmail account sync'd with my phone....

either a glitch or you could have iniitated a copy/paste operation when hitting send. I sometimes get randon "D" appearing on my smartphone devices and random pastes in the text fields.

There is probably a shortcut key combination set to copy/paste or signature.

pressing [ctl] + [c] and [ctl] + [v] using the on-screen keyboard works exactly as it does on a real PC. The side keys on that phone did something from memory.
