It means it was incorrectly updated. And if this is a continuation of your previous discussion, there is no reason to open another topic.

how is the reception, is it ok when you talk? if you are happy with the radio firmware, you can flash with this rom I have with a stripped radio firmware (flashing too many radio rom can lead to a brick)

I found in NZ radio 1.56 is best. I think the guy that sold you the phone tried upgrading the stock WM 5.0 rom straight to K's rom without doing the steps required.

So I suggest you play with my stripped ROM here. Then you can upgrade with a nice radio here, and... flash yourself a ROM of your choice.

I miss my windows mobile, sometimes.

... But if you have followed LennonNZ's instruction, then it is also fine

Ok from your other thread, you said you paid $80.00 because someone has semi bricked it. This means that this PDA is still functioning you just have to get your A to G and get it fixed, with a name like 'the wiz' I am surprised it is not done yet by now.

So many resources on line on how to fix. This is the WIKI, follow it step by step, flash hard spl first as found somewhere on that link.

then upgrade to what ever ROM and radio ROM you wish. It is not dead, and you still can fix it.

what I meant is .... as I am typing this is your jasjam fixed now? it takes sitting down of just an hour max, it is easier to fix this than to update a firmware on a blackberry takes at least an hour!
