i think imate smartphone2 doesn't support BT handsfree profile...

is there a list of supported bluetooth profiles from all different BT-capable devices? it will be nice to have a list of BT devices supporting what BT profiles... my partner's H6365 has handsfree profile, which is nice. but my imate smartphone2 only support headset :-(

oh well... if anyone has information, please direct me to the available information regarding BT profiles for all BT devices... thanks!

Kel.

I've found that when it comes to mobile phones, the default is Headset. If the phone supports Handsfree they usually make a big splash and announce it everywhere. It's quite unusual to have handsfree, although it's the only (mostly) supported profile in car kits.

i-mate SP3 smartphone (1.5.33.11) has both Handsfree & Headset. See under "Device-to-device connectivity" on http://www.clubimate.com/index.asp?PageAction=DETAILS_SP3
I'm using Handsfree with a Blueant Talkpad car-kit.

Bluetooth.com has a list of devices with certification information, profiles supported, etc.

Another good source of information is BTDesigner. Check the End Products menu...
