I'm currently have an HTC Touch and thinking about upgardeing to the 3G version. I'm on Vodafone.
Is it worth the change? Is the speed / coverage (South Island) that much better on 3G. Any advice much appreciated.

The mai question is "Where in the South Island" are you?

The Touch 3G should work everywhere where the "3G Extended (900 MHz WCDMA)" is working, in addition to the main centres. I don't see a reason why not go for it.

I'm a Rep that covers the whole Island but stay in Queenstown and Nelson on over night trips. Home base is Chch. Just looking for some idea weather the cost to upgrade is worth the extras.
