Not sure if anyone uses Telecoms etxt but I ahve been testing the new blackberry bold on the xt netwrok and part of that test is being able to get to www.telecom.co.nz/etxt service.  This is a critical service for my role and I can login to the site (which I couldnt on the worldmode BB) but some of the site once logged in does not display.

Does anyone else use this service or have been able to use it via a mobile browser and if so what phone/browser combo worked.

I tried it on the OKTA Touch and that didnt work either.

Have you tried the Opera Mini browser? It's faster and displays more sites better than the BlackBerry browser.

Visit mini.opera.com from your BlackBerry to install.

Apparently BlackBerry OS 5 will have a much-improved browser.

With eTXT you can send TXT's directly from your email on your PC, can't you do this via your Blackberry's email system?

Yeah but we have many groups setup in etxt and cant remember them all.  We use it as a tool for txt notification of major system outages for key staff.

Will have to research that optiona bit more.

Trying to actualyl type up the message and add groups to it for mass send.  I can sign into the site but the group list/address book never shows up.

Pretty sure it is Java issue but I have mucked around with the settings and no luck.  There is some sort of upgrade going on with our BB system this weekend so will see if it works after that.
