Hi All ...

Just would like to know where in the file system should I place copies of my MP3s so I can get WM6.1 to recognise it (drop-down box in the Sounds Setting) and start using them as a ringtone, text msg tone, alarm tones, etc??? I have tried click-holding the file itself in File Explorer and assigned it as a ringtone on the drop-down box, but it wont stick.

You can long press on an mp3 in any folder location from within the file browser to set as a ringtone. For SMS alerts they need to be copied in a "My Documents" folder (I just created one in my storage card and files there are selectable in the sounds and notifications menu).

Not sure about custom alarms though?
