Just installed on my Xperia...

First impression: this browser is incredibly fast, blazing in fact when you have turbo switched on. You can see why in places, for example thumbnail images never fully resolve like they do on my older version, or this version with turbo off (presumably the turbo server-side compression). For the most part however this doesn't matter too much when you consider the speed of browsing.

Mobile browsings finest browser just got better...

I installed it last night. Interesting browser, still out there - it seems a lot of screen space wasted with that huge ba at the bottom.

Fast, but just. Rendering isn't that great though - Internet Explorer 6 on Windows Mobile is better actually, but not as fast.

Also, it's beta. You can only buy Opera mobile 8.5 and they already have 9.7 beta? Strange...

Just had a longer pay during the day... It's actually much nicer than Internet Explorer 6 on Windows Mobile. And faster too.

Much nicer indeed!

I've been using older builds since I got my Touch Pro prior to getting my Xperia, but this feels like a very new browsing experience due to the speed.

Some pages are still better with turbo off though, NZherald being a good example, in WVGA resolution you see the whole width of the page and can still read the text (allowing you to quickly find what you want and zoom in on it) whereas in turbo mode the text isn't really legible anymore...
