Ive tryed Several times to connect with my cell phone so i can use it as a modem for my Palm but all it does is hang.. i got the Cable today and been trying Different ways to connect but nothing the place where i bought it from came with a Cd which has the manual for my Palm and it doesent work... I put the script in for it and everything check it out this is wha it tells me to put

Send: at+CGDCONT=1,,”internet2.voicestream.com”
Send CR:
Send: atd*99***1#
Send CR:
Wait For: CONNECT
End:

Maybe someone can help me hopefully

Assuming the rest of the script is correct (including APN name), you should try

Send: ATZ;+CGDCONT=1,,”internet2.voicestream.com”

and also fix the dial command to be

Send: atdt*99***1#

Also on the dial command, if it doesn't work you might have to change the configuration where it's 1 to something else - depending on the GPRS connection configured on your phone - although I suppose Cingular configures the GPRS on position 1 by default.

nothing still i checked the log and it has the error "ERR:0x121F" and then says Not Connected at the bottom

I'm not sure the WAIT FOR CONNECT is either required or correct in this context...

my provider is t-mobile the manual is for t-mobile phones im guessing im not gonna get to much help here then huh??? its ok i will call my provider and see wha they say and update with you guys

jokerx225, check this guide. Note that I don't use the script at all. Instead you can use the Palm OS to dial and send the Init string to your phone. In this case simply enter Z;+CGDCONT=1,"","wap.cingular" on the Init String:
