I'm looking at getting a W995 but was wondering if it uses the symbian OS? doesnt seem to say it anywwhere on the spec sheets.
I like to use google latitude on my n95 so was wondering if it works on w995 too.

Nope, I just read the review on GSMArena, and its not a Symbian handset.
