details:

using activesync 4.5

have a samsung i607

using a toshiba stack

windows service pack 2

I am having problems syncing my phone with Activesync via Bluetooth. I have done all the steps to a succesful bluetooth-activesync connection and when I attempt to add the activesync service to my phone, its not there. the only ones that show up are serial port and stereo headset.

any ideas?

Perhaps ActiveSync is not configure to correctly listen on a serial port?

You *must* create an incoming serial port on your PC, and configure the ActiveSync host (PC) to listen on that port. Then you create the pairing, at which point you should see the ActiveSync icon spinning.

Only then ActiveSync client (Windows Mobile) will know there's a valid partnership waiting on the PC side.
