OK am I missing something here or is this phone missing such a basic thing as emoticons?

Same with the entire e series I think (at least the e-51 and e-71 we have here). I don't think we are allowed to have fun with the e series as it is for "business"!

Wow OK I understand it is aimed at business but why not have them and leave it up to the person if they want to use them? Ah well...

I found a way to do this (using predictive text on) -

Type '1' three times to get three '...', then press * for options, choose spell and put in ':-)' (for example)

Then the next time you use '...' it will give you ':-)' as an option. Repeat for each emoticon you use...
