Hello,
I have a client who has (on the advice of Telstra) upgradeed their OKTA Touch handset to WM6.1 by downloading and installing the Telecom upgrade. Now the device will connect for data but not voice ("if you are a visitor......" error message). I have checked namming etc and all looks fine, is there anytihng I am missing? Has anyone else had this problem?

Cheers

Check your "hardware version" (Start -> Settings -> System -> Device Information)...

I am guessing you will find a hardware version of 0001

I had the same thing happen to me, and I had to get the phone number "disconnected" (moved onto a dummy ESN) and then reconnected back to the ESN before it would start working again.

Apparently version 0002 phones are unaffected.

Check this post for more info...
