Hi,

After months of savings, got together a SE K700i+Akono HBH 600+Ipaq hx2110(2003 SE).
Works fairly well EXCEPT the BVRP phonemanager just fails to recognize the K700i(rather, has no entry for the k700 in the choose option). For this reason, unable to use a newly purchased software - BVRP pocketphonetools 4.

Any suggestions?

Cheers

Amit

You should be able to use other model - like Sony Ericsson T610, they're very similar. Is this one on the list?

Thanks for the prompt reply, mate.

Nope - no luck there either. For your guidance, the software (BVRP pocket phonetools 4.1) works flawlessly when using the IrDA function, but in BT...issues still exist.

BTW, www.bvrp.com has a list of compatible handsets (I discovered it later - much to my loss!) and the k700 is unlisted - T610 finds a mention but with limited features usable.

Actually, was looking around for a good SMS client to manage my txts - guess that is USD 49.99 down the drain as I am in no mood to change either the Ipaq or the K700.

During the BT detection mode, the BVRP ends up detecting an unlisted/Generic phone but is able to acquire the full Operator details - no sweat.

I await further guidances.

Cheers
