Hi
I installed PicoZip for a trial and after I had adjusted the time/date recieved a message from the programe that by having done this I need to contact their marketing section, which I did. Meanwhile I now cannot open zip documents; even with WinZip, as Pico Zip has it seems, first choice. PicoZip will not uninstall while this problem exists. Pico Zip marketing has not replied to my email. Can anyone advise me how I can neuter PicoZip? Thanks

I know you've posted this on the Smartphone forum, but are you running this on a Windows Mobile 2003 Pocket PC or Smartphone? I couldn't find any reference of this for Smartphone - but for Pocket PC and Pocket PC Phone Edition.

If you're running a Pocket PC then you can install Pocket Tweak and use it to assign .zip extensions to another program. Or simply install another program that manages zip files and it should change the file type association.

As for removing the program, have you tried doing a soft reset (or power cycle if using a Smartphone) and then trying removing it? Sometimes programs are still running when you try to un-install and this causes problems.

Hello, thanks for your reply. I am new to forums and I think I have posted my problem on the wrong site. I have not got this on my SmartPhone (thankfully!) but on my computer. So sorry to have troubled you.
