Strange. Same account?

You can try adding Z; to the Init String on your Pocket PC. Place this at the start of the Init String if you are already using something.

thanks for the quick reply (as always); tried using Z+CGDCONT=1,"IP","internet.globe.com.ph" and still got "cannot connect for an unknown reason". i tried to check if i got the phone config right and true enough, it was able to connect to the gprs server on its' own, but if i use the ipaq, it doesn't push through.

You can try Z;+CGDCONT=1,,"internet.globe.com.ph".

thanks....still no dice, though...guess i'll just have to look at other methods. argh...makes me wonder if this is compatible with an ipaq (or ppc, for that matter)

was finally able to get in touch w/ motorola's customer support, and it confirms what i've been dreading: it can't be used as a connection to the internet if you're using a pda. they claim it only works for laptops and pcs. oh well, at least i can browse on the phone. as for the ipaq, there's always wifi....
