Richard, just got word back from Vodafone on this one. They reckon it should work with the iPaq default drivers - but have not tested the combination yet.

I've spoken with Brightpoint, our supplier, and they say that at this stage it isnt compatible with windows CE v3.0, which is what my customer is running. And she isnt prepared to change OS's... oh well, hopefully a solution will appear at some stage!

Ok i have sorted the issues today for a customer.

the vodafone card is just a rebadged GlobeTrotter - Universal Tri-Band GSM/GPRS PC-Radio Card.

Follow these quick instructions i have made.

Download and install to the ipaq while it is in cradle
http://www.option.com/data/globe/apn_manager.exe

and follow these instructions.. http://www.option.com/support/globetrotter/ce_ppc_instructions.shtml.

The main diference being that the dial number is *99# not the usual which is *99.
U need to put the APN name into the APN manger which is in the connections folder and this APN is called : www.vodafone.net.nz

Good luck, works for me on pocket pc 2002 and 2003 on a 37xx, 38xx, 39xx, 54xx, 55xx.

These are great news... Thanks! I see you have a Compaq service here in NZ. Good to know.
