Does anyone know of any good software that I can use to download New Zealand news onto my Palm in the morning to read at work? I know that AvantGo is popular, but I wasn't sure whether I would be able to use that to get local content.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you tried Plucker - www.plkr.org.

Similar to AvantGo, but you're not tied to channels. Any website can be downloaded. It's all good :-)

Palm Tipsheet #29 (http://www.palmtipsheet.com/html.texts/tipsht29.html) also has a rundown of some of the available alternatives to AvantGo.
