the two front panel buttons for contacts and calender respectively on my device are no longer working. At last when i press either of the keys i get an error message "cannot find button o1 make sure file and path etc are correct. now i don't get that anymore. now the keys merely act as a toggle for the close file "x" sign that appears at the top right hand corner of the screen.

Pls help

Have you tried a soft reset first?

Do you have any third party button mapper program installed? If yes, try removing it. Also, the Button Assignments could be wrong. Tap Start | Settings | Buttons and check there for what programs are invoked when each button is pressed.

Thanks. I have tried going through start-settings-buttons and the problem has been corrected.

If a cold reset doesn't fix it you should be able to re-assign the keys. If you're not 100% sure about doing this, another way to fix it is to wipe the device with a cold-reset. I repiled to your Bluetooth query too and the fix for this is probably a rom upgrade that will need a cold reset anyway so you might as well do that and fix both problems in one hit

John
