on my imate pda 2k quite frequently when i hit the bluetooth icon at the bottom right of the today screen i do not get the bluetooth manager to come on. I get to turn on bluetooth but not the manager. Sometimes this problem is solved by a soft reset, but most times it isn't. i then have to wait for a while until his majesty to decides to respond. any solutions, please
Check you have the latest ROM build. There were a lot of bluetooth and other radio fixes in the V1.22 ROM upgrade (V1.06 Radio Version) for the PDA2k from Imate. There were still some known compatibility issues in this version though.
I've just hopped onto the Imate site and see they've released V1.40 ROM which has Radio version 1.12. Again, new Bluetooth, WiFi and GSM stacks to fix some known issues. The update also includes Media Player 10.
I'm going to try this update myself, will let you know how it goes. Be aware it's a cold reset to do the update so you loose everything not backed up.
