Awesome upgrade from the previous version, easily the best browser available for S60v5 phones at the present time (although still a ways of Opera Mobile 9.7/iPhone/Android browsers).

Just tried it on my i8910, suffers slowdown after about 10minutes, but easily the best browser on S60v5 until that point in time. Amazing improvement, still quite a ways off Opera Mobile 9.7, but definitely closing the gap.

Definitely worth a go for N97 and 5800 owners!

Installed. But for every single page it asks for access point. I am actually starting to hate how S60 manage access points.

/edit: not in every single page, But the first time it started it was. Now it's settled down.

Hmmn, maybe spoke too soon - currently in longer browsing session, 2 tabs, no slowdown... Even better than I thought!

So still no kinetic scrolling?

Still, Opera Mini is definatley better than the default Symbian browser...but I do miss the kinetic scrolling.

How to make default is a good question...I notice when opening links in Gravity it automatically uses the Symbian browser...

Question...what is the difference between Opera Mini and Opera Mobile?

Wow...love it!

I especially love that popup qwerty...its what the N97 should have by default for all apps, when holding in portrait and using touch screen only...

Kinetic scrolling!
It needs a bit of work, no as fluid or easy as the Symbian browser, but its certainly better than none.

I see it also now gives the option to connect automatcially/saves your connecion preference so it only needs to be entered once....that is much beter than before always geting asked if and who you want to connect to for either that site, or the session.

Turned of 'NavBar always visable'...love the way that hides and easy re-appear...

Love the tabs...easy to use, hides nicely...fantastic...

Hmmmm....there does not appear to be a way (at the mo) to edit the 3 default speed dial pages...thats an irratation.

I need to test this for days on end to test speed...but I will go as far as saying, this is almost the perfect browser, love it!

Opera Mobile has double-tap to zoom+reflow, which is brilliant, better UI also in terms of the options for what to with text when you long press the screen (send via sms, save to contacts/clipboard, bunch of other things that escape me), but its mainly double-tap to zoom+reflow that is the key behaviour missing in mini...

i'm starting to like Opera on mobile, it renders the normal web pages much better than the default Nokia browser. 5 is much different from 4, not sure if I like it better or not.

Issues I have found so far:
1) The on-screen qwerty does not disapeer when using the harware qwerty on the N97
2) There does not appear to be a enter button to drop down to the next line, using the hardware qwerty enter/drop down key ends the ability to type in the text box
3) Opera Mini does not allow the hardware sym key to be used

Edit. I edited the format of this post later as when originally posted using Opera Mini, I could not drop down a line for proper formatting.

Just updated my 5800...fabulous browser.

For some reason though, you can't replace the default browser on the 5800, which is a bit pants.

Kinetic scrolling on this Beta version is a little flaky at times too.

Otherwise it's excellent

I don't like how it takes in the passwords. I much prefer the way that most other mobile browsers show the letter while typing, then after a short delay, changing it to a *

Bug 4) There is no save button for images, instead selecting open... crashes/freezes the browser and eventually the phone.
