Hi we are running a thin client environment (using citrix pres server 4.0) and I need to get our Treo handsets syncing over our thin client thick network.

The software is installed on the server and it runs fine when attached to the server (as you'd expect) but it falls down when you attach to a terminal (have tested on HP T5500 and VXL percio)

I need the correct drivers to get the terminal to recognise the device (we also have harriers and these are in the same boat)

Anyone played with this and got it working?? I'm stuck and cant find anything on the net as of yet.

Any help would be a godsend!!

I think its to do with your client not forwarding the clients serial/usb to the server.

My recollection of RDP was with the latest client (the one bundled with XP/Office:mac 2004) it was possible to share your disk-drives/printer etc. (not 100% about serial)

Does the citrix client forward usb/serial? Because you'll probably need it.

Yes Citrix Presentation server has USB forwarding etc as a feature but it appears that the usb drivers for the need to be installed on the terminal itself as well as on the server.

When you plug the phone into the terminal it recognises that its there and requests the driver..

I can get it synching fine on a laptop or PC over citrix (as the drivers are installed locally on the machine) but not ono a terminal over citrix.
